Conductors play a central role in applications of electricity. In this chapter we will study response of conductors when extra charges are placed on them. We will find that once static charge condition is reached, extra changes tend to settle on the outer surface and electric field vanishes everywhere inside the conductor. That makes entire conductor an equipotential body.
