Chapter 40 Electromagnetic Oscillations

Electromagnetic oscillations refers to the oscillations of electric and magnetic fields. When you drive an electrical circuit with both capacitance and impedance, which is pretty much every circuit, by a sinusiodally varying source, you get current and EMF in the circuit that also oscillate in time. An \(RLC\) circuit is an electrical analogy of damped driven harmonic oscillator and exhibits resonance phenomenon.
